Wilkhahn’s AT task chairs are fitted with the patented Trimension technology, so leaning in at work has never been easier.
The ways we work and the ways our work environments look today are almost nothing like they were a few decades ago. Wilkhahn is one of the few brands that have embraced the enormous change, leading the charge with one innovation after another. The German brand’s ‘Office for Motion’ campaign has been championing collaborative working modes and fostering an agile working environment with a wide range of products.
Launched this year, the AT family of chairs is the latest task chair range from Wilkhahn’s ‘Free-2-Move’ concept for workplaces. At the heart of this concept is Wilkhahn’s patented Trimension technology, which allows three-dimensional dynamic movement while you’re seated.
Trimension enables fluid movements in all directions yet ensures the body will always maintain its centre of gravity thanks to an auto-centring mechanism – no matter whether you stretch, fidget, lean sideways or bend down. In short, an office chair with Trimension technology will be able to respond to the slightest shifts in posture, safely and comfortably.
The Wilkhahn AT chair is offered in three variants: with a medium-height backrest, a high backrest, and a high backrest with headrest and neck rest. The chair is highly customisable too. Its finishing options include two choices of frame surface colour (black and white), five choices of finish for the star base, and 12 textured upholstery materials (with even more upholstery options available by request).
Optional extra features include seat depth extension, automatic weight adjustment (with pre-setting in ten increments), a contact suppression feature, a patented 3D forward tilt (enabling the seat and back to be raised at the same time), armrest pads and height-adjustable armrests.
All this and we haven’t touched on the chair’s best feature: its affordability. German technology and quality are not usually associated with affordability, but AT is a delightful exception. But don’t just take our word for it; get in touch with the team at Wilkhahn and prepare to be amazed.
AT was one of the many products presented by Wilkhahn at Orgatec 2018. Read more about the brand’s full range of offerings at the trade fair here.
