On the Move: on the rise at ClarkeHopkinsClarke and Techne

ClarkeHopkinsClarke

ClarkeHopkinsClarke is on a roll as of late, with the announcement of three senior promotions coming within a few short weeks of the recently announced new appointments to the firm’s senior team. This time, congratulations are in order for three deserving members of the practise’s Melbourne team.

Janice Tan has been promoted to an associate position. Hardworking and passionate about sustainable design, Janice has lent her design expertise to a range of high-ESD projects including the recently completed Nightingale and Little Miller project in Brunswick, The Stewart Collective apartment project now selling in East Brunswick, and an upcoming townhouse community in Northcote.

Kai Cheong has also stepped up into the role of associate. Kai approaches design as a craft, bringing a bespoke and deep consideration to each individual building or space. His current projects include Cowper Residences and mixed use precinct in Footscray and Heirloom Apartments in Doncaster.

Nick Webb is officially titled: Associate, Seniors Living and Care. An exceptional project leader, Nick brings a calm, can-do attitude to his new leadership role, along with a decade’s experience spanning independent and retirement living, mixed-use developments, bespoke multi-residential and public housing.

Last but not least, Thu Le has been ordained senior architect. Formerly a team leader in our Health sector, Thu Le brings a wealth of experience to her new role as senior architect, including masterplanning and mixed-use design as well as a passion for ESD and a strong focus on health design that increases wellbeing and creates positive community impact.

Techn?

Techn? Architecture + Interior Design are thrilled to announce the promotion of architect Sam Sempill to senior associate.

Part of the Techne? team for over two years, and with more than 15 years’ experience, Sam has worked across the residential, hospitality, commercial and education sectors. Notable projects include Richmond’s Amora Hotel redevelopment, CorePlus yoga and pilates studios, high-end residential homes along with many hospitality venues across the state.

Techne? director Steve McKeag is pleased to be bolstering the leadership team with Sam’s promotion. “Sam is a great fit with our culture, design ethos and the future direction of Techne?. Her commitment in these unprecedented times as well as her energy and creative design excellence are assets which have been invaluable to us,” says McKeag.
