What are you most looking forward to at Hong Kong Indesign 2015?
Besides having the unique opportunity as an ambassador to promote the design industry and meet participants from around the world, we’re also excited to participate in Design Conversations on the subject of ‘Wellness in the Workplace’. It will be a great opportunity to share with and learn from others about this subject.
How do you think Hong Kong Indesign will be beneficial to the local industry?
We always say good clients are ultimately the ones giving the chance for good designs [to occur], so any event that allows the public more access into the design industry would be good to lift the design spirit of a city. Hong Kong has seen an increasing number of fantastic, design-focused events, and I think Hong Kong Indesign will be a good and successful one.
What do you think of the design industry in Hong Kong right now?
I feel extremely upbeat about Hong Kong design right now. We see a great diversity in the work that’s generated here, and with that comes designers enjoying local and international attention. I think it says a lot about the creative energy and originality that are trademarks of what everybody fondly calls ‘the Hong Kong spirit’.
