For over 50 years, German manufacturer Waldmann Lighting has been providing high-quality lighting solutions for the architectural, medical and industrial sectors. Since first exhibiting with us at Saturday in Design, Singapore 2011 (now known as Singapore Indesign), they’ve become well established in Singapore, with project references in all major Asia Pacific cities.
Late last year, Waldmann Lighting opened a new studio in China Square Central – a ‘living showroom’, where products form part of a working studio. This ‘living showroom’ focusses on their elegantly designed workplace lighting, placing it in situ.
At Singapore Indesign, we’ll get our first chance to see new products they launched at this year’s Light + Building, the world’s largest lighting show in Frankfurt at which they were one of the main exhibitors. They’ll be introducing the new round LED room light Vivaa, the freestanding luminaire Lavigo and the customisable LED task light PARA.MI.
Don’t miss seeing Geyer‘s future-themed installation come to life in Waldmann’s showroom during the event. Geyer have created this in collaboration with Wilkhahn for The Project. Everyone who saw Geyer’s previous installations at Singapore Indesign knows to expect great things; in 2012 they were inspired by film classic Metropolis
, creating a dystopian reality of shattered images, broken graphics and mass-produced cubes.
Waldmann have reacted swiftly to architecture and design developments and human trends with functional, well-designed lighting products designed with ergonomic and energy-saving features. Living Edge is now bringing Waldmann products to Australia.
Visit Waldmann Lighting during Singapore Indesign 2014 in our Tanjong Pagar design precinct. Waldmann Lighting will be sharing their showroom with Wilkhahn.
Singapore Indesign will be held on 4 October 2014. Register for free today. For more information and regular updates, visit singaporeindesign.com.sg and subscribe to the Enewsletter here.
