A stylish soiree at Schiavello’s new showroom marks its arrival in China.
Schiavello has just opened its inaugural showroom in China and the location couldn’t be better! To the south of the new showroom, in the Heng Yi Building, stands Beijing’s glorious history including the Imperial Palace and Temple of Heaven, whilst looming up from the north is the modern Olympic Park.
This melting pot of old and new is perfectly symbolic for a company that, by bringing 50 years of expertise to China, is rapidly realising its vision of being a leading furniture supplier and manufacturer in Asia. Moreover, the showroom is ideally situated close to major office buildings and boasts magnificent views of the arresting Bird Nest National Stadium.
This all sounds like cause for celebration to us and celebrate they did! A fabulous launch party saw guests relax into the evening with an international jazz band whilst enjoying delicious Australian wines and an Australian-inspired menu. There were also novel interactive-photo and company-history walls to engage with whilst new innovations were showcased against a backdrop of greenery to reflect Schiavello’s dedication to wellbeing. These included Krossi – a new sit-to-stand workstation system that allows movement from a seated to upright position, and Focus – a series of soft barriers and booths that encourages individual work, providing acoustic absorption and privacy for those who need it.
“We’re a people business. This means that we are continually seeking ways to help our clients by adding value to their activities on both a personal and organisational level,” explained Raffaele Tigani, director – general manager of Schiavello International.
Special guests also included Gerald Thompson, the deputy of the Australian Embassy, and Dan Tebbutt, the Australian senior trade commissioner, who joined managing director of Schiavello Group Peter Schiavello, in cutting the official opening ribbon.
A final highlight was the lucky door prize, which included a trip for two down under to experience the Schiavello HQ in Melbourne.
The Schiavello Beijing Showroom is located at 27th Floor, Heng Yi Building, 5 An Ding Road, Chaoyang District.
