Tait, the designer and manufacturer of Australian-made furniture, is heading to Singapore and Southeast Asia in early August.

Tait’s Founder and Director, Gordon Tait, says the newly formed partnership between Tait and Stylecraft in Singapore reflects a strong synergy between the two leading Australian furniture brands.

“Both Tait and Stylecraft support Australian design and manufacturing. While Tait has its own showrooms in Australia, we thought it beneficial for the Australian designers Tait supports, as well as the Tait brand itself, to have a presence in Southeast Asia,” says Gordon.

The move into Southeast Asia is backed by huge market opportunities in key areas of hotels and outdoor living. “There is a place for Australian outdoor furniture in the region and the products are already manufactured to suit the harsh Australian climate,” Gordon explains.

The first shipment of samples coming into Singapore will include top Tait designs such as the newly released Volley, the ever popular Jak and Jil, Good One and Gardenwall.

In addition to these best-sellers, customers can expect to find the full range of Tait products, available exclusively through Stylecraft Singapore.

See the Tait collections at Galleria at Sydney Indesign this August 15-17.
