Tile manufacturer SICIS has long championed the artistry of mosaic tesserae with its timeless collections of unique designs in a multitude of colour palettes. With the introduction of the NeoColibri collection to the SICIS Neoglass Collection, the Italian company offers a modern presentation based on the SICIS heritage.

The NeoGlass mosaics consist of tesserae in different shapes: cubes, domes, barrels and Petites Fleurs, a collection of little six-petal flower. NeoGlass also features a 6mm thick glass, rendering it particularly resistant to wear and tear – a feature that is uniquely appropriate for the floors of commercial spaces.

This collection is further enhanced with 70 NeoColibri colours. The traditional iridescent glass is embedded with pieces of gold and other precious metals resulting in an exciting play of light that subtly shimmers in the background.

The Veneno White mosaic panel (pictured) is a pixelated panel in glass mosaic with tesserae ‘domes’ that are 6mm thick. The design is reminiscent of a snake’s skin with its cold, metallic colours and undulating patterns.

The size of the 150 x 270cm mosaic panels can be customised to meet specific requirements. They can then be used to create unique and inimitable patterns and murals, in infinite colour variations suitable for floors and walls, and in either hand-cut and hand-laid artistic mosaic, or in the more contemporary ‘pixel’ technique.
