World renowned Spanish designer, Jaime Hayon has collaborated with the Republic of Fritz Hansen to create a chair that provides more than just seating – a new easy chair that offers an opportunity for reflection in a busy urban world.
August 19th, 2013
Ro is more than just an easy chair – it is a a one and a half seater offering enough space to curl up, read a newspaper and unwind. The striking, rounded design of the shell maintains a targeted balance between visual expression and functionality.
The Fritz Hansen Ro chair is available in nine colours: three traditional options of black, grey and taupe – and three bright colours of violet, blue and yellow. For a soft approach to interior styling, three pastels in light pink, sage-green and sand are also available.
‘Ro,’ meaning tranquility in Danish also features two different textures: one for the seat shell and one for the cushions which boast superior comfort. Launched in the Fritz Hansen showroom in Milan in April, the Ro Chair will be available at authorised retailers from September, 2013 – with Aluminium Furniture on Wyndham Street, Central, Hong Kong an exclusive local supplier.
