Leading Italian manufacturer Giorgetti presents two highly distinctive designs from its 2013 collection – Fang and Yang.
November 20th, 2013
Innovation and artisanal know-how have been the driving force of the Giorgetti brand since 1898. The designs stand the test of time and appeal to lovers of traditional craftsmanship.
Fang
In their latest 2013 collection, the Fang rectangular table series designed by Virginie Moriette and Xu Ming stands out for its beautiful form. The structure is made of honeycomb board and veneer in walnut canaletto wood, while the top of the table comes with an option of an insert in white onyx, or an insert made up of a 2-tray kit (for the 240cm table) or a 3-tray kit (for the 300cm table), in cold glass printed in stone grey colour. These trays are fixed on a panel in walnut canaletto and can be manually turned upside down. The columns of the table are covered in leather with the metal base profile painted in bronze.
Fang
Yang, also by Virginie Moriette and Xu Ming, is another highly individual piece of design. The seven-drawer chest features a frame in MDF, veneer and solid walnut canaletto wood and comes with discreet recessed handles. A mirror and tray covered in leather crowns this distinctive piece of furniture, with the metal base and profile that supports the mirror painted in bronze for special effect.
Yang
In addition, the drawers are removable and have recessed sliding runners, while inside the drawers, compartment trays in white painted Fiddleback Sycamore offer plenty of storage space for accessories and other personal items.
