Your top three influences:
Childhood: Living away from Hong Kong in UK and Australia; Friends around me.
The moment you knew you wanted to be in architecture and design:
When I drew buildings instead of flowers, humans, birds and animals at the age of 5.
Favourite landmark or building:
Sydney Opera House, because one will never forget the building once it caught one’s eyes and attention.
Biggest career movement:
Leveraged on my architectural experience and started my own Land and Properties Investment and Development Company, Kyss Properties.
Dream project to work on:
My own residential/commercial/hotel/office development project.
Dream person to collaborate with:
Most likely will depend on the nature of project for collaboration rather than a person.
Favourite decade of design:
The future decade.
Concern for the design and architecture industry in the coming decade:
Designers trying to make news headlines by carrying out shocking, odd or weird form and façade designs which often do not follow different functions that architecture is supposed to serve efficiently.
Items in the workplace you cannot live without:
A comfortable work-station.
