1. Go wherever you want, whenever you like

Hong Kong Indesign isn’t your typical event. You can start wherever you like, go wherever you feel like, and spend as much time as you want. It’s up to you to create your own design journey, or hop on the free shuttle services (see #4) and follow the crowd! Look out for the bright fluorescent orange flags that mark the entrances to the locations.

2. Register and pick up the free lanyard and Event Passes

If you haven’t pre-registered online, you can still register for free at any of the participating location. Fill out the registration form (or just attach your business card) and pick up your Event Pass and lanyard. Bring the Pass along to every participating location to be recognised as an official event visitor.

3. Pick up the Event Guide, or download it on your phone

Don’t forget to pick up the handy event guide, available at every participating location. It contains essential information such as a list of timed events, the activities at each exhibitor’s showroom or Curated Space and our bus routes. Want to keep your hands free? Download the PDF version for your laptop, tablet or mobile phone.

4. Hop on and off the free shuttle service

Not sure where to go next? Keep an eye out for the mini-buses with the Hong Kong Indesign branding. This complimentary hop-on/hop-off shuttle service will run on continuous, pre-determined loops on both event days. For bus routes and area maps, check out the Event Guide (see #3).

5. Need help? Speak to the volunteers

On both event days, friendly volunteers will be on hand to answer your questions and point you in the right direction. They’ll be wearing Hong Kong Indesign-branded t-shirts and will be stationed at each participating venue.

6. Get social and share the love

Hong Kong Indesign is crammed with Instagram-worthy sights and Facebook-friendly check-ins. Take plenty of pictures and share your design experiences, or see what everyone else has to say about the event. Use the hashtag #HKID15 and be part of the conversation.

7. Celebrate with us at the Indesign After-Party

After two days of design discovery, join us at our exclusive VIP After-Party on Friday 20 November from 8pm to 11pm. You’ll have the opportunity to rub shoulders with the who’s who of Hong Kong’s design scene, as well as some of the biggest names in international design. Entry to the After-Party is strictly by invitation, and there are only a limited number of tickets available. Want the chance to meet your design icons? 8. Visit all exhibiting locations and stand to win a trip to Milan

For those who have already pre-registered for the event online, visit all exhibiting brands/showrooms during Hong Kong Indesign, make sure your visitor pass is scanned at each location, and stand the chance to win a trip to Milan (including 4 night’s accommodation) courtesy of Herman Miller.
