More than 100 businesses within the Asia Pacific region took part in the inaugural Herman Miller Liveable Office Award 2013 with two selected for their outstanding approach to shared workspace.
August 21st, 2013
In what is set to become an annual event, Herman Miller called upon businesses within the Asia Pacific region to promote their approach to workplace interaction through intelligent design.
More than 100 entrants took part in the award designed to inspire the next generation of creative office design.
Businesses were judged on how workplace environments encourage communication and promote environmental responsibility. Other areas of review included expression of brand identity and team engagement.
A panel of international design leaders nominated twelve finalists and from that list, two businesses were crowned with the Liveable Office Award, 2013.
Winner of the SME business category award, Geyer, received a Herman Miller office makeover to the value of USD $5000 in recognition of their ‘Herald Weekly Times’ project.
Secondly, GPT Group took home USD $5000 cash under the commercial business category for their headquarters fit-out within the iconic Harry Seidler designed MLC Centre, Sydney, Australia.
The second Herman Miller Liveable Office Award, Asia Pacific will open for submission July, 2014.
