ERCO share their impressions of the lighting industry’s leading trade fair with Indesignlive.
May 4th, 2012
The International Trade Fair for Architecture and Technology took place in Frankfurt between 15 and 20 April 2012 – 6 days of new products showcasing the latest developments in lighting from around the world.
ERCO presented their innovative lighting tools for efficient visual comfort at a trade fair stand fully fitted with LED light.
The theme behind the display was 100% LED, not only in the new products presented but in the entire illumination of the stand itself – proof of the efficiency, capabilities and light quality of ERCO’s LED technology.
Groups of tables arranged on either side of the central bar presented the latest innovations.
One of the ends served as a mock-up wall showing how the new products work and demonstrating their benefits to the customer. The other end was designed as a stage-type light wall.
In comparison with ERCO’s stands at previous trade fairs, the LED technology with a connected load of just 7.62W/m2 allowed energy consumption to be significantly reduced – by 62% on 2010, and by as much as 90% on 2004!
The focal point of ERCO’s product presentation was the new LED spotlight ranges Light Board und Opton. This was complemented by further evolutions, in the second generation of Cantax LED spots, Quintessence double-focus downlights with LED, as well as a wide variety of additions to indoor and outdoor ranges.
“The LED lighting tools from ERCO are opening up enormous potential here, both in terms of lighting design and energy savings,” explained Kay Pawlik, Managing Director of ERCO.
“This new lighting technology allows for new luminaire shapes, while the light quality meets even the most stringent standards found in museums and galleries.”
